I’m still reeling from the energy of Maeda Taisho’s end-of-year concert, the PxP Carnival! It was live-streamed on NicoNico, and even though I was watching from behind a screen, the power of his performance reached me so clearly. 💖
One of the most special things about this show was seeing Akiyama Taiga at the back of the stage as the Stage Director. Seeing Taiga-kun working as the Director to craft every moment while supporting Taisho always makes my heart feel so full. 🥺✨
A Small Hall with "Arena" Energy 🏟️
The production was truly amazing. Even though the venue was small, Taiga’s direction made it feel like a massive arena concert with two stages and DIY Torokko (trolleys). 🛒💫
The "Love is Maze" Visual Attack 🛋️🍷
I need to talk about the staging for Love is Maze because the staging was actually lethal. Taiga-kun really knew what he was doing with this one! The aesthetic was pure, unadulterated seduction. Taisho looked absolutely dangerous in that white shirt—the way the top buttons were left undone just enough to give us a glimpse of his sternum and clavicle? I was actually losing my mind. 🫠
The frameless glasses paired with the gloves gave him this sophisticated sharpness that made the whole sofa choreography feel so much more intense. Every single element was calculated to ruin us: the red sofa contrast, the deliberate camera play, and the eye play. It was honestly a perfect performance. I was literally holding my breath... but if I’m being honest, it was only because I was imagining Taiga. 🙈
When you compare it to the Science of Seduction and Gravity of Addiction we’ve decoded before, you can really feel what’s "missing." Taisho has the sleekness, but he lacks that downward gravity in his hips that makes Taiga’s movement so addictive. And while the eye play was good, his gaze is still so soft. 🥺 It lacks that predatory, Taiga no Elegy intensity. Taisho is like a prince trying to play the villain, whereas Taiga is the gravity. 💃⚖️🍑💥 But under Taiga's mentorship, I'm looking forward to the predatory Taisho in the future! ✨
The Magic of "Kimi to Utau Melody" 🎹✨
Taisho’s live vocals here are just incredible. What really got me is how Taisho is such a crybaby—just like Taiga! 😭 We know how emotional Taiga-kun gets, and Taisho has definitely inherited that spirit. Even though he was clearly so emotional, he managed to sing Kimi to Utau Melody (KimiMelo) so beautifully while holding back his tears. 🎹✨ Seeing him stay professional and deliver those soulful vocals while being so visibly touched was moving beyond words. It's amazing he did this with only one month of practice! 🥺💖
The Strict "Mentor" Spirit 🐯🛡️

This talk is so precious because it shows exactly how strict and earnest Taiga is as a Mentor. 🤝💖 He doesn't care about a "perfect" technical result; what he values is the effort and the courage to try something new. It’s a pattern we’ve seen before—remember when he had Kento play the piano during the MADE Crea performance? 🎹✨

Now he’s pushed Taisho to do the same. Taiga telling them to go for it, even if they "wreck" it, is a beautiful testament to his philosophy. He wants to see his artists challenge their limits, and I'm so proud of Taisho for meeting that challenge head-on, just like Kento did. 💓🎹✨
