🐯 Midnight Circus: Answering to The First Call 🎪
Can you believe it's been a year already?! 🌀💃🔥 Writing this feels surreal because if you had asked me back in March 2025—right when that first article about Akiyama Taiga dropped—I would never have guessed I’d be this deep in the fandom!
When I first checked them out on YouTube around June or July, I watched them with cold eyes. 😒❄️ Because they were related to Taiga, I was holding them to that "Taiga-quality" of dance, and at first, I was watching reluctantly... *sighs* But those songs?! THEY WERE SO CATCHY. 🎶 I found myself rewatching their videos over and over, and one particular vocal really caught my attention—though I was too stubborn to look up whose it was! lol
Then came the trip to Kuwait. 🌍✈️ Seeing Taiga with Shinzato Kota changed everything. I really liked Kota’s live vocals, so I did my research... and that’s when it clicked. Wait... could this be Nico from Mayonaka no Circus?! 🤯💥
Honestly? I like Nico even more than Kota lol! The mask makes him so mysterious and attractive... and that voice? It doesn't just melt your heart; it completely transports you into his world. 🫠🎭✨
The real turning point was the Sincere Festival on September 1st. Taiga was on Instagram bragging about his "kids," and I grabbed a streaming ticket immediately. 🎫💨 After watching the performance, I fell in love instantly. 💖 I even installed TikTok just to hunt for fan-records! I didn't even mind the low quality—Nico's voice alone was enough to melt me. 📱💃
By October 1st, I officially became a WE-ER! Life got busy, so it took me a month to find "The First Call" in the FC... DAMN. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! 😱🔥 If I had known Taiga was there in the footage, I would have watched it so much earlier!!! Seeing that glimpse of him was enough to make me SCREAM down the entire room!!! *MAXIMUM FLAILING COMMENCE* 🌀🌀🌀

😂 Shiomi: Talents aside, I am obsessed with his clumsiness—especially when he talks! lol.
The legendary kakegoe fail! 😂 I can’t stop rewatching how he completely missed the chant—switching from 'Yo Ho!' to 'Hey! Ho!' out of nowhere. Honestly, with that level of confusion, I think he secretly believes he’s one of the seven dwarfs in Snow White! 🍎✨ Which is hilarious because, at 183 cm, he is easily the tallest 'dwarf' in existence.🦒🌀
He’s doing it again... total 'inarticulate' mode! 👅🌀 He gets so tongue-tied and just starts flubbing his words left and right. It’s become his signature move at this point. How can someone look that cool and then immediately trip over a basic sentence? The gap moe is too much! 🫠💖
This moment lives in my head rent-free! 😂 Nico was being so careful, explaining how their stage director was actually terrified to let Shiomi have the mic—clearly trying to keep the mystery alive. But Shiomi? He just laughed it off and immediately blurted out, 'Akiyama-san!' 🫢💥 Just like that, the secret was out! I’m honestly not sure if they were actually trying to keep Taiga’s involvement a secret at that point or not, but Shiomi has absolutely zero filter and I love him for it! lol 🦒🔥🌀
💪 Daichi: People praise his writing, but what I love is the immense effort he pours into his dancing. It’s so visible!
🥺 Ryuga: 100% face-bias! He looks so soft and fragile, make you want to protect him. But I just want him to put more gravity into his dance—don't waste those long limbs! 🔥🦒
